We are recruiting for a Principal Medical Writer to join an international, well-respected healthcare communications agency. This hybrid role requires three days per week in their central London office. In this position, you will be responsible for leading content development for your assigned accounts, with a particular focus on publications, providing scientific leadership and upholding industry best practices.

What you'll be doing

• Providing scientific leadership and strategic direction for assigned accounts.
• Acting as the primary client contact for editorial and scientific matters, and building relationships with medical experts.
• Overseeing and reviewing the work of junior colleagues to ensure quality and alignment with client strategy.

The experience you'll need

• A strong scientific background, with a minimum of a degree in life sciences (MSc/PhD is advantageous).
• Relevant writing experience within a medical communications or pharmaceutical setting.
• A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance.
