An international, well-respected healthcare communications agency is seeking an Associate Principal Medical Writer. This hybrid role requires three days per week in the central London office. You will produce and review high-quality, strategic content, with the opportunity to provide strategic direction and support the development of junior team members.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing strategic direction and applying scientific and commercial expertise to project delivery.
• Serving as a primary contact for clients on editorial and scientific aspects of your accounts.
• Overseeing the work of junior colleagues, delegating responsibilities, and providing constructive feedback.

The experience you'll need

• A strong scientific background, with a minimum of a degree in life sciences (MSc/PhD is advantageous).
• Relevant writing experience within a medical communications or pharmaceutical setting.
• A thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry standards and compliance.
